Reading a story to a child should be fun for both the adult and the child.

Paisley Platypus was written and illustrated for both a university project and a passion project. I wanted to create something for my final year project that represented who I am and what I wanted to be as a designer.

I chose to create a story that taught children an important life lesson about being anything you want to be when you grow up. I chose to make the book ask lots of questions so that it evoked thought in a child and made the experience between the reader and child special for both of them.
